Former S Club 7 performer Jon Lee has spoken about his sexuality for the first time with leading gay glossy, GT. The actor, who was recently in BBC1's Casualty, speaks to the magazine about his career and personal life. On the speculation surrounding his sexuality: “If someone had said ’are you gay?’ I would have said yes, but no-one ever did. I’ve never felt the need to leap out of the closet singing and dancing about it. I’ve always known I was gay, from a very young age. I came out to my friends and my family at a very young age, so for me it’s always been my life and it’s never needed to be a huge change that I’ve had to tell everyone about.” On coming out, he added: “If you are in the public eye I think people feel like they have a right to know, feel like they have a right to ask and that you should be completely open and honest about all these things. And I think it depends.” When asked what he looks for in a man, he said: “Obviously you have to be good looking, not an utter rotter, but someone who’s just happy in themselves you know? That to me is attractive. And someone to make me laugh. If you can make me laugh you’re halfway there really.” And on the other members of S Club 7: “I think they’re still doing it. I think they’re doing universities and clubs and gigs. It’s not something I would particularly want to do, but I take my hat off to them, I think it takes a lot of nerve to get up there and do it, for anybody, to come from doing Wembley Arena and then go back to doing that. Potts talks on Primeval series 4 | Primeval
Primeval star Andrew-Lee Potts has revealed details of the show's upcoming fourth series.
The programme was initially cancelled after the third run but was later recommissioned under a new coproduction deal between ITV and UKTV.
Potts - who plays Connor Temple - told Chicago Now: "[A] lot of things happened in the last series; I.E. losing our lead character. You've got to be a bit clever to survive in Primeval because they like killing people off quite a lot. But that's their way of keeping it really super fresh, and you actually never know. And nobody's really safe."
The actor praised the show's former star Douglas Henshall, who played Nick Cutter.
"People might not realise how much Dougie, I think, anchored the entire show, because it was his belief in it, his belief in coming from the serious actor side, and the professor side of the storyline. I think that made the show somewhat plausible in the ridiculousness of the Primeval world. I really respected that.
"I suppose, in a way, I am the character to carry that on now, so there are definitely going to be more nods toward Connor becoming more like Cutter."
Potts also attempted to explain the series' popularity with viewers.
"It's got a lot for everybody in there, and I think it doesn't patronise. We have a bit of fun. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but just seriously enough. I think the balance of things in the show, I think they always get right."
The fourth series of Primeval will premiere on ITV1 next year.

DigitalSpy Claims The Sats have Ditched their Manager |
The Saturdays have reportedly fired their manager to gain a "new perspective" on the band's future.
The group are said to have parted ways with long-time manager Jayne Collins, who has worked with them since they formed in 2007.
The Sun reports that the girls made the decision amid fears of being dropped by their label following disappointing sales of second LP Wordshaker, which peaked at number nine in the album chart last year.
A source said: "If the new album doesn't perform well, the girls know they could be heading for the dole queue.
"They bear Jayne no ill will but thought a new perspective might help them this time round."
The girls recently announced that their new album Headlines will be a mini album. Trailer single 'Missing You' is released on August 8.

The Saturdays return with their new single Missing You on August 9th, the first release from their brand-new album, released one week later on August 16th. Missing You is a club hit in waiting and features the five girls on storming form. The bittersweet lyrics are an ode to a lost love, sung beautifully over some monster synth riffs, perfect for a summer smash. Fittingly, the video was recently shot in sunny Malaga. Mollie, Rochelle, Frankie, Vanessa and Una have gone from strength to strength since the release of their last album, 2009’s Wordshaker. They have toured the UK, scored a string of hit singles and are currently the stars of an enormous TV and billboard campaign by Impulse. The last single Ego has now sold over 250,000 copies and spent over three months in the top 40. The new album will be an eight track collection, and feature Missing You, the previous singles Ego and Forever Is Over. As well as the release of new material, summer 2010 will be massive for The Saturdays and their fans, as the band play a series of huge live shows:

Saturdays to debut New Single at Festival | The Saturdays
The Saturdays will perform their new single at the Isle of Wight music festival this weekend. The group recently announced details of ‘Missing You’, the first single from their forthcoming third studio album. The band will debut the track during a one-hour set at the three-day event, which also includes Jay-Z, Blondie, Pink and Paul McCartney among others. Saturdays member Rochelle Wisemen posted on her Twitter account: “Rehearsing for our 1 hour set at the Isle of Wight festival with our band…the first time we are performing our brand new single ” It was recently revealed that the group are working with producer Steve Mac on their next record. Popstar and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Rachel Stevens is expecting her first baby. The former S Club 7 performer's news comes ahead of her first wedding anniversary to Alex Bourne. "We are delighted to announce that our client Rachel Stevens and her husband Alex are expecting their first child later in the year," said Stevens's PR. The 32-year-old singer added: "We are thrilled and so excited about becoming parents." Earlier this week, Stevens revealed in an interview with The Mirror that she is still in the "honeymoon period" of her marriage. "I'm really lucky though because I've found a good one - Alex is a brilliant hubby. He's really supportive and he's always proud of everything I do," she said. The news is expected to delay Stevens's plans for a pop comeback. She has not released an album since 2005's Come And Get It, but recently admitted that she was in the "early stages" of recording a follow-up.

According to breakfast2 The Saturdays' 8th single is going to come out in July. The frontrunner at the minute is a track called "My Love", but they might decide to change it. Other than that, no other specifics were posted about it yet (like whether it's for a re-release of Wordshaker or the 3rd album)

"We were at a party last night – as you do – and Rachel Stevens was there. We waited for a chance to sashay on over and tell her that Come and Get It is one of the best albums of all time. And, of course, to have a nose about the rumours we’ve heard of her popping into the Fascination records offices and such like.
She only went and confirmed that she’s coming back to planet pop. That was an absolute definite “yes” when asked if she was going back to music.
